Free Sermon Casting

I hate to pay for things.

So, when I found this site, I couldn’t pass it up. And now I am passing it on to all of you.

if you or your church would like to create audio files for people to listen to or to download, and you can’t find any way to fit your budget, check our SermonCast.com. You can upload and create a player for free and post it to your website, myspace or your blog.

I already use it and found it to be pretty easy to figure out. I have a fast upload speed, so that didn’t bother me that it took about 7 minutes for a 35 minute sermon. When you put it on your site, some of the words can be pretty small, so you need to make sure you have plenty of space. Wouldn’t it be nice if it could be the size of an Ipod shuffle on your screen?

It doesn’t create a lot of unwanted advertising on your page either. There is a little banner add that runs at the top of the player and that is all. The audio seems to sound just as good as the media we ripped it from and the streaming was equally as well.

All in all, because it is free you can’t beat the price. And for those of us smaller congregations that want to get the word out, this is an incredible tool.
