I don’t know how many of you know about this website Roov, but it is worth checking out.
Roov.com is dedicated to connecting people in action and causes. It is fairly young, so there aren’t a lot of people yet. But, it does have a ton of potential. I can see this becoming a must have link for any congregation that considers itself missional. Not only can you connect with people in your church, you can connect with your community and worldwide. And teh great thing is that it doesn’t seem over-spiritual. What I mean is that there are people interested in salsa-dancing and basketball forming communities.
In the coming age, I think it is going to be vital for a congregation to connect people in communities around causes and action even if they are outside of the said “religious institution.” A congregation that believes more in the kingdom expanding as opposed to keeping the glory in house will have a better chance of making a lasting impact for Christ on this world.

David…thanks for the review of ROOV. We’ve been working hard on building out this vision and still have quite a ways to go on it.
I couldn’t agree with you more…a lot of the site’s intent is to build “the Kingdom” and not just a certain church/denomination/institution. Cheers!
